Perp Unveils Sonic Masterpiece “Bottom of the Sea”

Bombay’s musical virtuoso, Perp, recently unveiled her latest sonic masterpiece, “Bottom of the Sea,” in collaboration with Delhi-based songwriter, guitarist, music producer, and vocalist Avyay. This heartfelt track champions authenticity and self-expression, urging listeners to cast aside societal expectations.

Traversing through layers of identity, the song’s poignant chorus, “Hidden at the bottom of the sea, like who we are and who we used to be,” prompts us to shed the layers that obscure our true selves.

Perp, also known as Urmila Sivadas, draws inspiration from her South Indian roots, initiating her musical journey with Carnatic Music at 6. Evolving through Blues, R&B, Jazz, Soul, and Funk, Perp aims to create music that simply feels good.

On the other hand, Avyay boasts over 7 years of experience in the music industry, collaborating with notable musicians such as Indian Ocean, Prateek Kuhad, and Anoushka Maskey, showcasing the depth of his musical knowledge and versatility.
