SaschArt has released the free eChorus plugin, compatible with both Windows and macOS.
This plugin, like all of SaschArt’s products, is designed with ease of use in mind.
eChorus provides excellent sound quality whether used for subtle background effects or lead parts.
It has low resource consumption, utilizing minimal CPU, RAM, and HDD.
The plugin includes the following parameters: Delay, Feedback, Rate, Chorus Time, Depth, Wet, and Dry.
These seven parameters make up the entire control scheme, catering to those who prefer straightforward designs.
The Rate control allows users to adjust the speed of modulation, enabling a range of effects from subtle shifts to intense, warbling sounds.
The Depth control adjusts the intensity of the chorus, offering everything from gentle shimmers to deep, swirling textures.
The plugin is versatile, suitable for guitars, vocals, synths, and more, and can adapt to any genre or style.
Its control scheme is simple and intuitive, yet offers enough depth for precise sound shaping.
eChorus is available for Windows (32 and 64-bit) in VST2 and VST3 formats, and for macOS in VST2, VST3, and AU formats.
To download eChorus, a free account on the SaschArt website is required, needing only an email address and password.
Currently, there are no online audio demos available for eChorus, either official or otherwise.
SaschArt is managed by a team of three: a C++ programmer, a graphic artist, and musician and sound engineer EmRysRa.
The inclusion of a graphic artist has resulted in a more user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing interface compared to most indie plugin releases.
eChorus is completely free to use, though there is an option to support the team via a donation link on the product page.
SaschArt offers a wide range of plugins, including seven limiters, seven delays, six distortions, five stereo plugins, four filters, four samplers, and eleven therapy releases, with many available for free and some as paid products.
