Auburn Sounds Unveils ‘Graillon 3’ Free Vocal Pitch Correction Tool

Auburn Sounds has introduced Graillon 3, their latest vocal pitch correction plugin, which comes with both free and paid options. It’s available for Windows, macOS, and Linux in multiple formats, including VST2, VST3, AAX, AU, and LV2.

You can choose between the free edition or the full version, currently offered at a reduced price of $29 (down from its usual $38.67) directly on their website.

Graillon 3 brings powerful features like pitch shifting and formant control, making it ideal for everything from robotic hard-tune effects to more natural vocal processing. It’s packed with essential vocal tools like a compressor, gate, preamp, chorus, and bitcrusher—all optimized to work seamlessly without adding latency to your signal.

The goal behind Graillon 3’s upgraded effects suite is to provide users with a straightforward yet versatile solution for producing high-quality vocals right out of the box.

Under the hood, the plugin boasts three distinct pitch engines: the original Graillon 2 engine, a newly refined Graillon 3 engine, and the I1 engine.

The I1 engine is borrowed from Auburn Sounds’ Inner Pitch plugin, but has been fine-tuned specifically for vocal processing. It delivers a unique tone, preserving low-end frequencies and adding a more spacious, reverberant sound, though it does come with higher CPU usage.

Opting for the full version unlocks additional perks like pitch-tracking modulation, a vocal doubler, and advanced tuning that lets you fine-tune each note within a -100 to +100 cents range. This precise tuning control was a highly requested feature from users of previous versions.

Even the free edition has seen a significant upgrade, now featuring an expanded set of effects, enhanced pitch detection, improved pitch shifting, and formant control, all while maintaining low internal latency.

If you want to get a sense of how Graillon 3 sounds, Auburn Sounds offers a collection of audio demos on the product page, along with an amusing animated YouTube video showcasing its capabilities.

The original Graillon made its debut in 2015, followed by the revamped Graillon 2 in 2017. With Graillon 3, Auburn Sounds has further expanded its capabilities, delivering a refined and feature-packed tool for vocal processing.

Downloading the free version is a breeze—just one click and you’re ready to go. For those considering the full version, it’s available via PayPal or credit card, making it a solid investment for vocal production.
