Pusha T has confirmed that he is no longer the president of Kanye West’s record label, G.O.O.D. Music, in an interview with XXL. Pusha T originally took on the role in 2015 but has since struck a 50/50 deal with Def Jam for his solo music and label, Heir Wave Music Group.
In the XXL interview, Pusha T also revealed that he is not on speaking terms with West and expressed concern about his mental health, citing West’s recent hateful and disturbing comments on InfoWars.
Pusha T formally disavowed West in a previous interview with the Los Angeles Times, stating that there is “no room for bigotry or hate speech” in America. West’s partnership with Def Jam and parent company Universal Music Group ended in 2021, and he has had a tumultuous relationship with the companies for several years.
