Tilr Unveils FREE Time1 And Gate1 Plugins For Windows

Tilr has unveiled Time1 and Gate1, two free Windows plugins, now available via GitHub repositories.

Described as an open-source delay modulator akin to popular plugins like Gross Beat or TimeShaper, Time1, and Gate1 is an envelope generator designed for gate and volume control. Both plugins are exclusively released in VST3 format, with their source code accessible on Tilr’s GitHub account, TiagoLr.

While a user demo of Time1 is available on YouTube, there are currently no demos for Gate1.

Individually, the Time1 delay is a versatile tool catering to creative sound design, offering applications such as stutter effects, tape stop, glitch, reverse, scratch, pitch shift, and more. Featuring a multi-segment editor, 12 patterns triggered by MIDI notes, and a Paint mode, Time1’s customizable design allows for a broad spectrum of delay possibilities. The Anti-clicking features, including three modes (off, low, high), pre and post-waveform displays, and a MIDI trigger mode, further enhance its capabilities.

Gate1, sharing many features with Time1, also incorporates a multi-segment editor, 12 patterns triggered by MIDI notes, Paint mode, Point type, MIDI trigger mode, and pre and post-waveform displays. Additional features include tempo sync or LFO rate (Hz), attack and release controls, and a global tension control.

Both Time1 and Gate1 are ports of previous JSFX releases, coded in C++ this time. Tilr has demonstrated prolificacy in JSFX Reaper plugins, creating 13 effects and 6 synths, all available on his GitHub account.
