Sez on the beat or Sajeel Kapoor does not really need an introduction. He is a talented producer and super humble individual and a genius kid on the block.

Whatever he touches turns to gold.

Nobody, in the Indian hip hop scene, can neglect that.

He is a super genius dude with the right kind of attitude. We seriously need such people in the industry right now.

Sez has produced a lot of bangers and he can also be considered as the pioneer of the modern hip hop culture in India. He is also the producer behind the famous chartbuster track “Mere Gully Mein” which was recreated and featured in the movie Gully Boy and is trending on the internet.

Now you may be wondering how is this connected to Sony Music India. Right?

Well, the problem as mentioned by Sez is that Sony Music India has been using his original composition for several occasions now. And have not paid him anything for that. So the issue here is actually that Sez didn’t get his royalties paid by the label.

Sajeel took to Facebook to accuse the makers of non-payment of dues and royalties as promised. “I wasn’t even aware of the fact that the song was going to be used in the movie until a little while ago and when I got to know about it I thought the original song will be used. Smh,” Sez wrote.

This post has already gone viral and everybody is talking about it. It has already been covered by lots of blogs and websites.

This unprofessional take by Sony Music India is definitely a big shock. This is also a learning for the new and upcoming producers who do not know anything about the business side of the industry.

Well huge applause to Sez for standing up against the giants and doing justice to his creations.
